These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Speech Synk ("we", "our", or "us") and govern your use of the Speech Synk iOS app and the website at speechsynk.com (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Wellness tool, not medical device
Speech Synk is a wellness and practice tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. The Service does not replace professional speech-language therapy or any other medical care. If you have a medical concern, please consult a licensed professional.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate others
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
Subscriptions and billing
Some features of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. You can cancel at any time through your iOS device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service (including audio recordings and notes). You grant us a limited license to process this content as necessary to operate the Service, generate insights, and respond to support requests.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security or safety risk.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific goals.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speech Synk and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect.
